My Policies

As a childcare provider I find it is especially helpful to have a framework of guidelines laid down to explain to prospective parents they way I work with the children.

When a new family comes to visit they will be given a prospectus with all my Policies in to look through. Once we have signed contracts these Policies and Procedures are supplied to new families in a comprehensive handbook for parents to keep and refer to.

Includes details about my behaviour management ideas and how I take a positive approach to managing behaviour.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Covers Illness, first aid, fire procedure and accidents/emergencies.

CHILD PROTECTION
Anyone working with children have a duty to be aware of how to deal with child protection issues, and I make evry effort to ensure that my knowledge in this field is always up to date.

FOOD & NUTRITION
As a registered childminder I have a duty to provide healty and nutrious food to the children in my care. This policy includes details of meals and type of food offered and example of menus.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
Includes activities and daily/weekly schedules.
